The Jessamine County school district participates in the federal Title I Part A program, which provides funding to help ensure that all children meet challenging state academic content and achievement standards. Parent and family engagement is an important piece of Title I Part A guidelines.

8th Grade Promotion 8th Grade Promotion

The 8th grade promotion will be on May 24th at EJHS at 6:00pm. Students will need to be at EJHS and in line by 5:45pm.  A dance will follow for 8th grade only immediately after the ceremony.

immunizations New Immunization Laws

New legislative changes regarding school immunizations went into effect in July 2017, and every student in our school district will be impacted by these changes. Each student will have to provide their respective schools with a new KY Immunization Certificate, which has been re-designed.  Even if the student has a Religious Exemption, he/she will be required to provide a new Religious Exemption form which now requires a notary signature and seal.
