In Agriculture Exploration class students had the opportunity to learn about growing their own plants for the purpose of food and nutrition. They learned where the ingredients of their meals come from and the basics of what goes into maintaining and processing a lot of those ingredients. They then got the opportunity to try out some of the foods they grew in their shoebox greenhouses. The results were overwhelmingly amazing and collectively the classes decided to share their recipe discoveries with each other and their community in this cookbook.
Please help us support their growing enthusiasm for learning about nutrition through agriculture by taking it from farm to table. With the purchase of each cookbook the funds raised will go towards building a school greenhouse to continue the hands on learning experience for WJMS students and provide healthy and natural ingredients to the Jessamine county students and community.
