Community Partners Honored at Board Meeting

JCS is thankful to have wonderful community partners who support our students and their families.  A huge thank you goes out to the Jessamine County Chamber of Commerce for their recent donation of $2660 from their Christmas Tree Trail event to support the JCS Homeless Education program.  The KCAL Old Time Radio Troupe has also "adopted" the program, making a commitment to designate Homeless Education as the recipient of proceeds from their annual benefit show.  In 2019, KCAL's Gospel Showcase raised over $5600 for the program, supporting children and families in our community who are struggling with a lack of housing.   We are fortunate to have the Homeless Education program in our district and so appreciative of the help!
