In case you were wondering, here is a little bit of background information about me! My teaching career started right after graduating from Asbury College with my first long term substitute position in the Jessamine County Schools. I’m thrilled to be back in the classroom after taking many years off when my children were small. In addition to my undergraduate degree from Asbury, I also have a masters' degree as a literacy specialist. I have been married 23 years. I have 4 children who attend Jessamine County Schools and one who now attends the University of Kentucky. Their schedules keep me busy when I’m not teaching. I’m heavily involved in the Bible quizzing ministry at our church where my children also participate. When I’m not doing one of these other activities, I like to scrapbook and garden. It is a privilege to work with the children at WES. Please don’t hesitate to let me know if there is something I can do to help your child be successful at school.
One of our favorite ways to spend time together is on the road...places to go...people to see!
