• School Closing: JCS will be operating on a 2 HOUR DELAY on Tuesday, January 22. Just as a reminder, a two-hour delay means that all busses run and all schools open exactly two hours later than normal. School will end at the normal time. AM Preschool and zero block high school classes will be canceled. High school students will begin with their THIRD block class. Breakfast will still be served.

I graduated from Western Kentucky University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and Social Studies in May 2013.  I recently received my Masters in Secondary Education Teacher Leadership with an endorsement in Gifted and Talented Education in June 2016.  I am completing my Rank 1 in Principalship, and I am completing a Graduate Certificate in Women and Gender Studies.  This is my fourth year teaching, and I am very excited to be part of the West community! I enjoy traveling, and I studied abroad in France, England, Italy, and Ireland during my time at Western Kentucky University. I love the arts as well, and I have 16 years of dance training in ballet, tap, and jazz dance.  This year I will be teaching Global Issues and AP Government. I am also a sponsor of Student Council.  I am committed to helping all students learn at their highest potential.  If you need to contact me, please do not hesistate to email or call.  I am looking forward to a great year!

I will post assignments and presentations on our Google Classroom page rather than this faculty page.  If you would like access to our Classroom page please email me, and I will give you the specific class code.  Thanks!
