Pre-Ordered yearbooks are here and have been delivered to the students today, Monday May 20th.  IF your child did not order a yearbook we have a FEW for sale.  On May 21st, Tuesday morning, from 8:00-10:00, ONLY 5th grade students who did not order a yearbook may purchase a yearbook.  After that time, it is FIRST/COME - FIRST/SERVE.  Again, once they are gone, they are gone!  Just a reminder that yearbooks are $15.00 and if you write a check, please make it out to RDES PTO.

With the formal acceptance of Dr. Lu S. Young’s resignation at our April 22, 2013 meeting, the Jessamine County Board of Education must now start the process of selecting a new superintendent. One of the first steps in this process is the establishment of a screening committee. The screening committee shall be composed of: two teachers, elected by the teachers; one board member, appointed by the board chairman; one principal, elected by the principals; one parent, elected by the presidents of the parent-teacher organizations of the district; and one classified employee, elected by the classified employees (KRS 160.352).
