Superintendent Search Underway Posted On: Friday, May 10, 2013

With the formal acceptance of Dr. Lu S. Young’s resignation at our April 22, 2013 meeting, the Jessamine County Board of Education must now start the process of selecting a new superintendent. One of the first steps in this process is the establishment of a screening committee.

The screening committee is as follows:
two teachers: Leo Labrillazo and Heather LaBarbara
one board member: Amy Day
one principal: Beth Carpenter
one parent: Carrie Peterson
one minority parent: Lisa Hammie
one classified employee: Chris Bellman
