Closing the Gap

We will be holding a meeting to review our new “Closing the Gap” Goal on Tuesday, October 21st, at 4:00 in the NES library. All interested friends of NES are invited to attend!

Unite to Read

For 1st grade parents & students: Unite to Read will be held at JCTC (Jessamine Career & Technology Center - Wilmore Road) on Tuesday, October 21st from 6 - 8 p.m.

Unite to Read is designed to promote literacy and lifelong reading among schoolchildren in Kentucky.

Box Top Challenge
Current NES Box Top Challenge ends October 24th. One primary class (1st & 2nd) and one intermediate class (3rd, 4th, 5th) will win a pizza party for most box tops collected! Send box tops in a plastic baggie labeled with teacher's name.

 

Author to visit Nicholasville Elementary
Kentucky author, Leigh Anne Florence, will be visiting Nicholasville Elementary on October 28th! A flyer regarding this event was sent home 10/9. Be sure to read and return it so we know you're coming. We look forward to seeing you!
