2016 Prom Information

Prom this year will be held at the Grand Reserve in Lexington on Saturday, May 14 from 8pm to midnight.  Tickets will go on sale the week of prom.
Students wishing to bring a guest to prom that is not a WJHS must submit this paper form.  PROM GUEST FORM
Students that have15 or more absences are not permitted to attend prom.  They may appeal with this paper form.  PROM APPEAL FORM 

Class of 2016 Information

All seniors should attend the meeting Tuesday, April 26 at 11am (3rd Period) for important information about their last month of school.  This meeting will include things about final exams, transcripts, awards, and graduation.  Click the link for the information from that meeting.

Summer school will be June 1-22 with two sessions 8-11, 11-2.

Project Graduation

For Project Graduation on May 27, approximately 50 volunteers are needed to assist with an assortment of activities. Volunteers are needed for a variety of times. Some of those may work a few hours, some may stay all night.  If you are willing to volunteer please contact Janet Sivis-O'Connell at WJHS: or 859-887-2421 ext 3610.

ARE YOU DONATING CLOTHING? The local Goodwill (off Main Street by Long John Silver's) has a credit system with Jessamine County Schools that enables us to give clothing vouchers to families in need! When you go to Goodwill to donate your clothes, just request that your clothing donation be CREDITED TO JESSAMINE COUNTY SCHOOLS. This is an important program for our students that is uilized on a weekly basis!  The account has been very low for the past two months. Please help by donating!!!

Driver's Testing times and dates are controlled by the Kentucky State Police.  Effective January 9th written tests are given from 8:30-11:15 Mondays and Fridays only.  Appointments are taken for drivers.  Test by calling them on Mondays or Fridays from 8:00-10:00 at (859)887-1713.
