2015-16 SBDM Parent Representatives

Congratulations to West High’s newly elected SBDM parent representatives for the 2015-16 school year, Tammy Goble and Jennifer Hatton.  Both parents will begin their duties on July 1, 2015.  Thank you to the other candidates who chose to run and to the parents/guardians who participated in the SBDM voting process.

The registration deadline without a late fee is March 13.
To still take the test on Apr 18, sign up with late fee by March 27.

Emerson James, a West High School Senior, was selected to represent the Family Resource and Youth Service Center (FRYSC)  Coalition of Kentucky at the February 24, 2015 Legislative Session Meeting in Frankfort.  The Coalition appreciates his service is sharing the importance of FRYSC and the value these centers have toward helping Kentucky children achieve success in school!  Congratulations Emerson and thank you for your service!

ARE YOU DONATING CLOTHING? The local Goodwill (off Main Street by Long John Silver's) has a credit system with Jessamine County Schools that enables us to give clothing vouchers to families in need! When you go to Goodwill to donate your clothes, just request that your clothing donation be CREDITED TO JESSAMINE COUNTY SCHOOLS. This is an important program for our students that is uilized on a weekly basis!  The account has been very low for the past two months. Please help by donating!!!

Driver's Testing times and dates are controlled by the Kentucky State Police.  Effective January 9th written tests are given from 8:30-11:15 Mondays and Fridays only.  Appointments are taken for drivers.  Test by calling them on Mondays or Fridays from 8:00-10:00 at (859)887-1713.
