Welcome to The Providence School's website. We hope that by visiting our site, you gain a better picture of what Providence is all about.

We are a non-traditional school for 6th – 12th grade students. Our goal is to provide students with more than a diploma; we want students to leave our school with an education which allows them to be successful in their career, as well as in their personal lives.

Pride & Purpose Dinner - January 12

On January 12th, TPS will host its annual Pride & Purpose Dinner. The evening will begin at 5:30 pm. Scheduled events include a spaghetti dinner, a review of testing data, recognition of our volunteer librarians, and recognition of student achievement. Students will be recognized for their achievements in the following areas:

ACT
ASVAB
Attendance
Intramurals
KCCT
Providence Pride Honor Society
STLP
Student Advocacy
Thriller Dance Production

Notes will be sent home with students. If you plan to attend, please return the note with information about the number of family members you expect will attend. This will help us prepare enough food for everyone.

FAFSA Night - February 1

February 1st will be our annual FAFSA Night. This evening is designed to help current seniors, TPS graduates, and parents complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid that is required for all students planning to attend a college/university during the 2012-2013 school year. Students/Parents should bring their completed tax forms or W-2s. Dinner will be served. In case of school being canceled on February 1, the make-up date will be February 6th.
