Classroom Guidance

A couple of times each month, a counselor comes into your child's classroom for a guidance lesson! We talk about many different things, such as anger management, manners, social skills, study habits and so much more! Check with you child to see what they learned!

Groups
Throughout the year we have different groups going on at Warner such as attendance group, grief group, newcomers group, incarcerated parent group, etc. We will let you know when our first round of groups will be starting up! Please contact us if you feel your child would benefit from one of these groups.

Individual Counseling

Please be advised that Warner Elementary provides both health and mental health services to students. Parents with questions regarding these services should call the school directly or email the school counselor. Any referral to an external (outside of the school) health care provider will require parental consent. 

Attendance
Attendance is very important to us here at Warner! We want your child to be here every day and we will miss them if they aren't! If your child needs to be absent, please send in a parent note or a doctors note into your child's teacher. We give out attendance awards at the end of each nine weeks for those students who have been here every day that semester - please encourage your child to work towards those awards! If you have any questions or concerns about attendance please don't hesitate to contact us!
