Healthpoint School-Based Health Clinics

 The Jessamine County School District partners with Healthpoint Family Care to provide School Based Health Clinics on school grounds where students and staff can go for comprehensive medical care. These school clinics are staffed by a Family Nurse Practitioner, Tara Curtsinger, who has been a Nurse Practitioner for over 10 years and has a passion for taking care of children.

 School Based Health Services provided include:

  •      Well child exams, school physicals, sports physicals

  •      Sick visits, injuries, prescriptions

  •      Immunizations

  •      Assistance in management of chronic illness

  •      Providing and/or connecting students with mental health services

  •      Vision screenings

 The School Based Health Centers accept all KY Medicaid as well as many private insurances and offer an affordable option for uninsured patients.
