As part of your child's daily homework, students in grade 4 are expected to study multiplication and division facts regularly.  In order to do this, NES (4th and 5th grade) uses the Rocket Math program.

I personally expect ALL students to pass all 36 sets before the end of the school year.  Your child should be around set 18 by Winter Break.  If your child is not, he/she will bring home extra Rocket Math practice sheets over break.

As part of your child's daily math homework, students in grade 4 are expected to work on and complete math practice pages.  These pages will not come home every night, but when assigned, will be noted in the agenda.

Please work with your child on this homework.  It is best for them to practice correctly than to be corrected after practicing incorrectly.
