PARENT ELECTIONS
 

Bios of the Nominees - Jennifer Berryman, Kathy Bolton, Shantelle Kemp, Matt Lockett, & Carrie Peterson

The election of parent members to the Council shall be by the majority of the voting parents who vote during the designated time at the front office or media center. Parents will have the opportunity to vote:

May 15:  8am - 4pm - Main Office; 4pm - 6pm - Media Tech Center

May 16:  8am - 4pm - Main Office 
May 17:  7:30am - 1pm -  Media Tech Center

 

East Jessamine High School is seeking two parents to serve on the School-Based Decision Making (SBDM) Council for 2019-2020 school year.  Schools are required to conduct an election annually to select parent and teacher members. The SBDM Council is comprised of the principal, four teachers, and 2 parents. The Council has the responsibility for most decisions related to our school. We are currently seeking nominations for the two parent positions. Parents are eligible to serve if they meet the following criteria:

 

  • Parent council members must be a parent, step-parent, or legal guardian of a student who will be enrolled at EJHS during the 2010-2020 school year.

  • One district lead training session

  • 12 monthly meetings after school

 

The election of parent members to the Council shall be by the majority of the voting parents who vote during the designated time. The term of office will be from July 1, 2019 to June 30, 2020.
