The Jessamine County Board of Education will hold a public hearing on the proposed 2026 property tax rate on Thursday, August 28, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. at the Royse Administration Building, 871 Wilmore Road.
By law, a hearing must be held if the board plans to (1) keep the current rate or (2) increase the rate. Holding a hearing does not indicate that there has been a decision to increase the rate.
This hearing gives our community the chance to learn more and share input before a final decision is made and we encourage your participation.
