
JCTC Health Science and Biomedical Science students are starting their day watching a live open heart surgery at Jewish Hospital in Louisville and hearing from the professionals in the room. Fun at the JELV Fall Festival! 🎃🧡🍂 Our CTSO students have been volunteering this week to create a fun experience for the JELV students through a corn maze, pumpkin patch, photo booth, and more! Dr. Vanessa Ruda received the Counseling and Career Development Professional Award and Mrs. Cary York was recognized with the Lifetime Achievement and Hall of Fame Award tonight at the Kentucky Assoc. for Career and Technical Education's Awards Dinner. JCTC is proud to have these two amazing awards educators in our family!

JCTC is blessed with amazing teachers. Thank you to everyone who nominated a candidate for Teacher of the Year. Congratulations to all of our nominees and congratulations to the 2024 JCTC Teacher of the Year, Will Hall! Mr. Hall built our Pre-Law program from scratch and is a leader in Pre-Law education in our state. We're thankful he's ours!

For the 23rd consecutive year, the Kentucky Association for Career & Technical Education was recognized for meeting the Quality Association Standards at Vision 2023! JCTC Principal, Christi Hack, who serves as President of the KACTE accepted the award.


Our FFA students have been sharing the great news about their chapter and the work that they do for our community, including their Thanksgiving food drive. Here's how you can help in their efforts to ensure that everyone in Jessamine County has access to a good meal as we gather to celebrate this day of gratitude. Donations will be collected until next Tuesday (11/21/23). All non-perishable food items and monetary donations can be dropped off at JCTC, East or West High School. JCTC Sports and Event Marketing students and DECA members were given a VIP tour of the Titans Stadium and met with Titans executives from several departments to learn about the wide variety of career opportunities in professional sports.


Donate new toys and blankets to HOSA's Turkey Time Toy Drive. Toys will be donated to area foster children through DCBS. Toys can be dropped off at any JCTC location.
