Family Math Night is happening this Thursday, February 22nd, from 6-7:30. It's a great opportunity for families to have fun together while learning math. There will be games and snacks for everyone to enjoy. Don't miss out on this exciting event!

With boundless energy and an ever-present smile, Ms. Carlola has transformed our Family and Youth Resource Center into a vibrant hub of warmth, compassion, and opportunity. From organizing educational workshops to providing crucial support services, she has played a pivotal role in ensuring the well-being and success of every child who walks through the doors of Red Oak.

JCS just finished assessing the roads and, unfortunately, there are too many snow and ice covered roads throughout the county. Jessamine County Schools will provide instruction on Monday, January 22, 2024 utilizing our 5th NTI day. JCS child care will be provided for families who completed the pre-registration and it will begin at 9:00 a.m.

With the forecasted mixture of freezing rain and snow starting this evening and continuing into Friday morning, Jessamine County Schools will provide instruction on Friday, January 19, 2024 utilizing our 4th NTI day. In addition, JCS child care will be closed on Friday.

With the combination of snow still remaining on several of the county roads and the forecasted mixture of freezing rain and snow starting tomorrow afternoon, Jessamine County Schools will provide instruction on Thursday, January 18, 2024 utilizing our 3rd NTI day. In addition, JCS child care will be closed on Thursday. Extra-curricular events will occur as planned for Thursday unless notified otherwise by your athletic director or principal.


NTI Day #1 on January 16th due to forecasted additional snow and freezing temperatures!
