Welcome Mr. Josh Sullivan: New Principal of Warner Elementary School!
Mr. Josh Sullivan has been selected as the new principal of Warner Elementary School. Mr. Sullivan and his family are currently preparing to move across the country from Riverton, Utah, to join the Warner community in the coming weeks.
Mr. Sullivan brings an exceptional blend of educational leadership, behavioral expertise, and a deep commitment to student well-being. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, a Master’s in Education Administration, and a Master’s in Clinical Social Work. He is also trilingual, speaking English, Spanish, and French.
A Proven Track Record in Education
Mr. Sullivan has dedicated his career to fostering environments where students thrive both academically and emotionally:
Early Career: Spent four years in the classroom gaining vital perspective as both an instructional assistant and a teacher.
Channing Hall (K-8): Served for six years as Assistant Principal and Mental Health Director. In this dual role, he managed school-wide behavior strategies, implemented Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS), provided individual and crisis therapy, and served as both the 504 Coordinator and Athletic Director.
Jordan School District: Spent the last five years as an Assistant Principal, serving most recently at Fox Hollow Elementary since 2022. During his tenure, his collaborative leadership style helped orchestrate a 50% reduction in student absenteeism and disciplinary actions, while simultaneously boosting academic performance and strengthening the school climate.

More than his credentials, Mr. Sullivan is known for his heart for people. His former supervisors consistently highlight his remarkable ability to build strong, genuine relationships with students, parents, and staff, ensuring that everyone in the building feels safe, supported, and valued.
