GAME DAY!

Mrs. Sumner's science class is taking off on an incredible learning adventure! Today marks the first day of their new unit beginning with the 2005 Ethiopia earthquake and its aftershocks. To kick things off, the students boarded a simulation flight to Ethiopia! With Mrs. Sumner as their pilot, a co-pilot guiding the way, and a student flight attendant serving a classic mid-flight snack, the classroom truly transformed into an airplane. This immersive experience is setting the stage for an engaging exploration of how tectonic forces shape our planet and the powerful role they play in earthquakes.
