At East Jessamine High School, safety is always a top priority, and we are halfway through Kentucky Safe Schools Week alongside National School Bus Safety Week. It’s the perfect time to highlight the important role our bus drivers play in keeping our students safe every single day. Our bus drivers are the first and last faces our Jaguars see each school day, and they take this responsibility seriously. From making sure everyone is safely seated to following traffic laws and maintaining order, their commitment ensures that our Jaguars get to and from school securely. Let’s all take a moment to thank our amazing drivers for the work they do, and remember to stay alert on the roads, especially around school buses. Together, we can ensure that every student has a safe journey to school and back home.

Ms. Hinton's classes are using circuits to model how electric companies make decisions when there's an insufficient energy supply. They call it "The Electric City."

They were ready for iReady! We are unbelievably proud of our freshmen class. They worked hard on the math iReady diagnostics test this morning and it was clear the Class of 2028 is respectful, responsible, determined and engaged!

We continue to celebrate Kentucky Safe Schools Week! Today, we're highlighting one of our key safety measures: all exterior and interior classroom doors remain locked at all times. This simple yet powerful practice helps create a secure learning environment for our students. We are proud of our safe school and all the faculty and staff who take the little steps, like locking doors, that make a BIG difference.

We’re so proud of Jocelyn Vesci for being named to the 1st Team All-Region for the 12th Region! Your hard work and dedication have paid off. Keep up the amazing work!
