Each of these incredible educators brings passion, creativity, and care to our classrooms every day, inspiring students and strengthening our Jaguar community. Today marks the final day of National Principals Month, and we couldn’t let it pass without recognizing the incredible leadership team that keeps East Jessamine High School moving forward. Principal Hawboldt, Assistant Principals Mr. Riddle and Mr. Ledford, and our CRA Ms. Helton lead with dedication, compassion, and a deep commitment to our students and staff. Their tireless efforts, whether supporting classrooms, celebrating success, or handling the countless behind-the-scenes details, make East a place where everyone can thrive. We are so thankful for their leadership, their sense of humor, and the countless ways they pour into our Jaguar family every single day.

JaOntay shines as a communicator who connects with others through clarity and kindness. When faced with challenging topics, he takes the time to explain ideas in ways that make sense to his peers, helping everyone learn and grow together. His ability to share knowledge with patience and confidence shows what it truly means to live out the Communication pillar of the JCS Graduate Profile! We are so excited to recognize him as one of our students of the month!

Spanish II and III created ofrendas for Día de los Muertos

The BBB' Consumer Education Fund, a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, is excited to announce the BBB Trust Scholarship, an opportunity for students to showcase their creativity around the theme of “Trust.”
Students may submit one original entry per category—Video, Graphic Design, Visual Art, or Essay. Prizes will be awarded to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners in each category, along with a “Public’s Choice” award for select categories. Additionally, a donation will be made to the schools of each 1st place winner.

She’s a leader in the Jessamine County Colonels Horse Club, a high honor roll student, and a proud member of Beta Club. Beyond her academics and leadership, Shayla works at Culver’s and still finds time to ride her horses every day. Her drive, commitment, and determination shine in everything she does ! We’re so proud of her and the example she sets for others!
