Congratulations to Kasiah Bobzien and Yana Filimonchuk on receiving the first ever EJHS Foundations Student of the Year Award! Mr. Richards defines the award as a testament to the student's continued dedication to learning, academic success, participation in class, attendance, and following the East anchors. The students received a personal memoir, certificate of achievement, and a flag flown over the United States Capitol building in Washington, D.C. in their honor. The flag order was done at the request of United States Congressmen Senator Mitch McConnell and Senator Rand Paul of Kentucky.

The sun is setting for our seniors as we begin the final push towards graduation in the coming weeks. We are excited to
kickoff the senior celebrations with next week’s Senior Sunset!

Let's turn up the heat, Jaguars, as we head into May this week!

Congratulations to ONCA! They are the house champs for the 2023-2024 School Year!!! 🖤

KSA testing is just around the corner. Sophomores, mark your calendars for May 2nd, and juniors, you're up on May 1st and 2nd. Let's show what we've learned and excel together! 💪

Prom tickets go on sale on Monday!

Shoutout to our incredible school counselors who have been working tirelessly for the past two weeks, ensuring that every Jaguar gets the schedule they want based on his or her own passions and purpose! These counselors love our students and are masters at their crafts. 💙

It's Senior Night! Come out and celebrate our EJHS Seniors. We will start at 5:30 pm with Senior Night recognition. 🥎💚💙

Onca did it! They have been undefeated all year with our house games!!! Despite the score today, it was a great game against Paraguensis!

We have been making great strides at East Jessamine and our hard work is starting to show what we’ve always known! We take great pride in the newest rankings released by U.S. News and World Report and are so proud of our Jaguar Community. Let’s continue these steps of excellence by being respectful, responsible, determined and engaged! Check out the full list of rankings at this website! https://www.usnews.com/education/best-high-schools/kentucky/rankings/lexington-ky-30460

These students were recognized at last night's Board meeting for their participation in the state Educators Rising Conference! These students are going to make excellent educators and we hope they'll join our ranks in the future!

Congrats to Avery Petz and Sawyer Snyder on participating in KMEA District 7 9th grade all-district band. Great performance by all involved.

We are beaming with pride as we celebrate our students who were selected for the Governor's Scholar Program! Congratulations Jaguars!!!!

For Earth Day, our Food Services team likes to do something extra special for the students in our district by providing Kentucky Proud Meals. Jessamine County received the Local Food to Schools Grant which provided money for Kentucky agricultural products. So today, our Jaguars have the option to enjoy grilled steaks prepared by our very own Jessamine Cattleman’s Association! In addition, they can enjoy some Taylor Belle’s ice cream that started out as an FFA project in Kentucky and has grown to providing ice cream for all UK, Rupp Arena and Kroger Field events! Thank you to all of those who have made this lunch possible!
