The air is getting crisp, the leaves are starting to turn, and there’s something special about this time of year. October is a season of change, reflection, and cozy moments ahead. Here’s to pumpkin patches, football games, fall festivals, and all the little things that make this month magical.

Starting high school can be a big transition, but Braelyn has embraced the challenge with focus and determination. From day one, he has shown what it means to give consistent effort, whether it’s contributing to class discussions, staying on task, or putting in the work to improve every day. His persistence and positive attitude make him a strong example for his peers. Braelyn doesn’t just push himself to succeed, he motivates those around him to rise to the same standard.
We’re proud to recognize Braelyn as one of our August Students of the Month for embodying the work ethic pillar of our Graduate Profile!

As we approach the end of our first 9 weeks, now is the perfect time to check your grades and make sure you’re on track! Every grade matters—not just for your GPA, but also for your KEES (Kentucky Educational Excellence Scholarship) money through KHEAA. Strong academic performance can earn you more scholarship funds for college, so stay focused, ask questions, and finish the first 9 weeks strong. Your future self—and your wallet—will thank you!
