We’re proud to recognize Alex for showing what true responsibility looks like. Even when he wasn’t in class, Alex took the initiative to complete his work on his own and made sure it was turned in with care and excellence. We are incredibly proud of Daniel, an East Jessamine High School student, who was chosen from players across the nation to represent his home country, Venezuela, in the 15U division of the “World Comes to the Palm Beach” World Championship.
Daniel was a standout on the mound—pitching two key games and securing wins against Canada and Nicaragua. He finished the tournament with an unbeaten 2–0 record, a flawless 0.00 ERA, and seven strikeouts. His skill, discipline, and passion for baseball were instrumental in helping Team Venezuela capture the World Championship title.

Today marks the final day of National Principals Month, and we couldn’t let it pass without recognizing the incredible leadership team that keeps East Jessamine High School moving forward. Principal Hawboldt, Assistant Principals Mr. Riddle and Mr. Ledford, and our CRA Ms. Helton lead with dedication, compassion, and a deep commitment to our students and staff. Their tireless efforts, whether supporting classrooms, celebrating success, or handling the countless behind-the-scenes details, make East a place where everyone can thrive. We are so thankful for their leadership, their sense of humor, and the countless ways they pour into our Jaguar family every single day.

JaOntay shines as a communicator who connects with others through clarity and kindness. When faced with challenging topics, he takes the time to explain ideas in ways that make sense to his peers, helping everyone learn and grow together. His ability to share knowledge with patience and confidence shows what it truly means to live out the Communication pillar of the JCS Graduate Profile!
