June 5th, from 10am-1pm, will be the first of several days and times the library will be open to current EJMS families to stop in and check out books. Make sure to check out our summer reading display for information on how to earn chances to enter drawings for special prizes for reading select titles!

It's hard to believe, but this is our last weekly update for the 2025-2026 school year! In five days our 8th graders will be high schoolers and our 6th and 7th graders will move up a grade level. It's been great to share what's happening at our school and keep you in the know with our newsletter. We'd love to hear your feedback about this publication, please take a moment to fill out our Jaguar Weekly feedback form to share your thoughts as we get ready for next year. We've got some fun things in store for these last five days at EJMS with the EJHS House reveal for our 8th graders today, field day and family games night tomorrow, and an exciting final game of matball with our winning student team vs. faculty and staff on Monday. This week and next week will both be four day weeks and then we have one more Monday and we're done. It's hard to believe the school year is almost over! Hello EJMS Family and Friends - We hope all of the mothers and mother figures in our students' lives had a wonderful Mother's Day weekend! We begin state testing this week and are so excited for our students to show what they know and how much they've grown this year. This week also begins with the spring choir concert and ends with 8th grade recognition on Friday night. It's going to be a great week to be a Jaguar and we can't wait to see our students and their families around the building as we celebrate. We're excited for spirit week this week as we set goals for KSA based on our students' great growth throughout the year. It's also Teacher Appreciation work, be sure to check out Mr. Pickerill's message to share a shoutout about your favorite teacher. We're also appreciating our PTO this week and hope that parents can join us for the PTO Appreciation dinner on Wednesday.
