Mrs. Jones supports our Jaguars in ways that often happen quietly behind the scenes, but the impact is BIG. She helps students navigate hard days, big feelings, and challenging moments with compassion, patience, and care.

Her heart for kids is evident in every conversation, every check-in, and every extra step she takes to make sure students feel supported and valued. Because of her, our building is stronger, kinder, and more connected.

Mrs. Jones, thank you for being such an important part of our Jaguar family. We are so grateful for the light you bring to our students and staff every single day. 💙

Drop a comment below to show Mrs. Jones some appreciation! #proudtoroar

With all these snow days, AMs turning into PMs, and everyone asking, “Wait… what day IS it?” — one thing we always know for sure is that Mrs. White is exactly where she needs to be for our students. 💚💙

She is incredibly giving, endlessly loving, and a true bright light in our building. Our students know they are seen, heard, and cared for because of her. And even if we lose track of the clock, she never loses track of what matters most — our kids.

Drop a 💙 in the comments to show Mrs. White some appreciation today!

If you’ve seen a therapy dog brightening someone’s day, a Color Run covered in smiles (and powder!), or students learning how to build strength from within — you’ve seen Ms. Montgomery in action 💛

With Dr. Bill by her side 🐾 and Sources of Strength in full swing, she pours into our students in ways big and small.

EJMS is better because of her heart, her leadership, and her unwavering support for every Jaguar. 💚💙 #ProudToRoar

Let's continue celebrating Counselor Appreciation Week with dropping a comment below for Ms. Montgomery!

Monday, February 2, will be a snow day for JCS.

Despite the amazing efforts of our custodial, maintenance, and transportation crews this past week & weekend, the efforts of hard working snow removal companies that assisted in clearing lots, and a WHOLE lot of hope - we are, unfortunately, not able to return to school today! Many roads and sidewalks are still covered in snow and ice. Today is a snow day and will be made up at the end of the school year.

We are hopeful that with slightly warmer temps and sunshine tomorrow, we may see improvement.

Coaches & sponsors will be in communication with students about events and activities.

Look what our EJMS students have built together! The Trusted Adult Wall in front of our school is now filled with names of the caring adults our students identified that they can count on — from parents and family members to teachers, coaches, and neighbors. This powerful visual shows just how important connection and trust are in their lives. As parents and caregivers, you play a huge role in helping kids feel supported, seen, and safe. Take a moment today to ask your child: “Who are the trusted adults in your life?” It’s a great way to open the door for meaningful conversations and strengthen those vital connections. #proudtoroar
