We are just one day away from the Color Run! This time tomorrow we will be joyfully running through beautiful colors and spending some much-needed time with our families and community! If you’re not a runner, don’t worry! There’s something for everyone! We’ll have yard games, karaoke, face, painting, bracelet making, a cakewalk, food trucks, and excellent company! The first 100 participants to show up and get a free T-shirt! It’s fun, free, and no sign-up is required. 🗓️Tomorrow from 6:00-8:00 📍 At East Jessamine Middle School 🙌 Hosted by our JCS Sources of Strength Student Leaders

Our very own Amy Harlan is a finalist in the Traveling Teacher of the Year! The nominees for this award are educators who are passionate about student travel and combine the thrill of exploration with enriching learning experiences. These teachers go beyond the traditional classroom walls, harnessing the power of travel to broaden horizons, foster cultural understanding and ignite a lifelong passion for learning in their students. They navigate the many challenges of organizing trips while inspiring curiosity and respect for the diverse world we live in. Voting ends May 23rd! You can vote one time, so every vote counts! Hello EJMS Family and Friends - Welcome back from spring break! We hope that everyone had a wonderful week away from school - whether that was relaxing at home or vacationing with your loved ones. We've got another great week ahead with spring sports throughout and our annual color run this Friday evening. This is also the time of year that our district asks for parent and family feedback regarding your experiences at our school. Please be sure to fill that out to share your voice at this link. You'll find more information about this in the newsletter and coming home with your child this week. Have a great one! https://secure.smore.com/n/hm1ux
