Ms. Bramel, Ms. Woelfel, and Ms. Sturdevant’s preschool class had a great field trip learning all about community helpers!

Our pre-school friends had so much fun exploring, learning, and seeing how people in our community work together to help others. What a fun day of hands-on learning! 💛

Mrs. Baxter’s class has been having such a special time learning about different cultures in their classroom! What started with their geography unit has grown into something even more meaningful, with families coming in to share and connect with the students. 💛

So far, they’ve learned about Ukraine, Brazil, and Guatemala, and it has truly been a wonderful experience for everyone!

Mrs. Alcott’s class had an AWESOME day glowing and growing at their Glow Party! From neon fun to glowing smiles, these students lit up the classroom with excitement, teamwork, and friendship! What a bright way to celebrate all of their hard work!

Meet Mrs. Jessie!

What’s cooler than a science teacher, library teacher, and robotics teacher? Having all three wrapped into one amazing teacher!

Our students absolutely love learning with her. She brings science to life in such exciting ways, helps spark a true love of reading as students explore books in the library, and makes robotics come alive with Dash the robot in robotics club. Every day with her is filled with curiosity, creativity, and joy!

Mrs. Jessie has such a kind and welcoming heart, and she makes every student feel seen, supported, and excited to learn. We are so grateful for the energy, care, and passion she brings into our school each day. She truly makes our school shine a little brighter!

What is that smell? Stinky feet of course!

Ms. Fryman’s friends worked hard and earned all 20 Otters, so they celebrated with a special reward. No shoes in class for the day! We are so proud of their hard work and they loved showing off their silly stinky feet. Way to go friends! 🦦👏

We just wrapped up our CKLA farm unit and our students had so much fun becoming little opinion writers 🐄🐖🐓

Each student chose a farm animal they would want and explained why it was their favorite. From cows that give milk to chickens that lay eggs and pigs that love to play in the mud, our friends had thoughtful reasons and big ideas to share. We are so proud of the way they turned their opinions into real writing and used what they learned during our farm study.

Mrs. Jones’ class worked so hard working together and following the 5 STEPS that they earned a stuffy party! Their teamwork, listening skills, and kindness toward each other really paid off. We are so proud of this group for showing what it means to be a classroom family. Way to go, friends!

This week, we celebrate our amazing school counselors and the incredible impact they have on our students and our school community. They are a listening ear, a steady support, and a source of encouragement for both students and staff. Whether they’re helping students navigate big feelings, build friendships, or find their confidence, our counselors show up every day with compassion, patience, and heart. We are so thankful for all they do to help our students feel safe, supported, and ready to learn. 🥰

This month we celebrate Black History Month by honoring the dreamers, creators, leaders, and change makers who shaped history and continue to inspire our future. We want our students to see themselves in these stories of courage, brilliance, and perseverance and to know that their voices, talents, and dreams matter.

At our school, we celebrate learning like Ruby, dreaming like Martin, writing like Maya, overcoming like Zendaya, and reaching for the stars like Mae. Every child has the power to make a difference, and we are proud to help them grow into the leaders of tomorrow.

What a cluck-tastic week in the library! Mrs. Jessi brought in two chickens for students to see and explore during library time. She read The Little Red Hen and then students got an extra special surprise when they were able to see a real red hen right in our library.

This hands on experience connected perfectly to what our kindergarten students have been learning during CKLA as they explore farms and farm animals. We just love when a book JUMPS off the page! 📚🐔

These friends are being celebrated by their bus driver and monitors for rocking the 5 STEPS on the ride to and from school. They noticed the hard work, the kind choices, and the effort these students show every single day and wanted to make sure their success was celebrated.

We love seeing our bus teams take the time to let students know how proud they are. Way to go to these amazing riders for showing the 5 STEPS beyond the classroom. We are so proud of you too!
