Our Hattie Chat Morning News set was a little more crowded-and a lot more fun-this week! We opened up the mics and invited the siblings of our hardworking crew to join us behind the camera. From delivering the daily announcements to nailing the weather report, these guest stars did an incredible job. It turns out that talent definitely runs in the family! 🎤✨

📚We were so lucky to host author Susan Mills for a special visit with our 2nd graders this week! There's nothing quite like hearing a story read by the person who wrote it. Our students loved learning about her writing process and asking their "aspiring author" questions!

To wrap up their unit on the Three Branches of Government, our 5th graders drafted their own bills for our school. But having a great idea was just the beginning—they had to navigate the "legislative process," lobby their classmates, and get that final signature from the President! ✍️📜 We are so proud of these future leaders for their teamwork and critical thinking!

📚 Happy National School Librarian Day! 📚

At our school, the library is the place to be because Ms. Parker is there! 🌟 From the smell of new books to the hum of the 3D printer, Ms. Parker has created a space where creativity meets learning.

She does more than help students find the perfect book; she opens doors to new worlds through research, technology, and storytelling. She is a creator, a tech wizard, and an invaluable teammate to our entire staff.
