📣 Exciting News! West Jessamine High School has been honored with a Purple Star Award , recognizing the incredible support provided to our military-connected youth and their families. 💜✨
This prestigious designation highlights WJHS’s commitment to ensuring that students from military families—whether they are Active Duty, National Guard, Reserves, or Veterans—have the educational and social-emotional resources they need to thrive and become college, workforce, and life-ready.
Why purple? 💜 It symbolizes the unity of all military branches, blending Army green, Air Force blue, Coast Guard white, Marine Corps red, and Navy blue into one powerful color.
Congrats, WJHS! We are proud to serve those who serve! #PurpleStarAward #WJHSpride #MilitaryConnectedYouth #StrongerTogether
