Jessamine County Schools is proud to celebrate Warner Elementary student Collins Craig who was recently crowned Junior Miss Kentucky! Beyond the title, Collins is using her platform to make a meaningful difference by collecting toys for children in need, spreading joy and kindness-one toy at a time.
We are so proud of her leadership, compassion and commitment to serving others. Congratulations on this incredible honor and for using your voice to help brighten the lives of so many children! 💙✨

We're thrilled to share that softball standout and our very own VLA/ASH Principal Marci Smith is being inducted into the Jessamine County Athletic Hall of Fame!
We invite former teammates, coaches, and our community to join us as we celebrate Marci's incredible athletic career and success with one of the highest honors in Jessamine County athletics.

Teachers submit the original student artwork along with a signed permission form to Arts for All Kentucky. Selected artwork becomes part of this prestigious exhibit and participating students receive a certificate of recognition.
We are incredibly proud to announce that the 5th-grade student winner from Rosenwald-Dunbar Elementary School, Tyler Cobb, has been selected for the 2026 Student Traveling Exhibition!
Congratulations to Tyler, whose piece, "Ice Cream Man," will represent our district throughout the exhibit. This is a wonderful accomplishment!

A huge thank you to West Jessamine High School Rho Kappa Honor Society students and the WJHS Cheer team for their service to honor our nation's veterans recently for Wreaths Across America.
Our students placed wreaths at Camp Nelson National Cemetery to help ensure that the sacrifices of our veterans are never forgotten.
We are so proud of our Colts for showing such leadership, respect, and gratitude within our community. 🇺🇸

Last night, the incredible teachers and staff from EJMS went above and beyond to bring the holiday spirit directly to their students' doorsteps! 🎄
With a school bus decked out in twinkling lights, their team set off through neighborhoods to spread some serious cheer. From singing festive carols to handing out steaming cups of hot chocolate, it was an evening filled with smiles, songs, and, two of the best gifts we could've asked for, family and community. 🎁

From music to performance, these talented students are sharing their gifts beyond the classroom and bringing joy to local holiday events. We’re so proud to see their hard work, creativity, and passion on display this season! 🎄

Mrs. Williams' WJHS Colts took Algebra out of the classroom and into the market this week at UK's Gatton College of Business. During the visit, three student teams presented the finals of their stock pitch competitions, offering professional recommendations and rationales.
This isn't just a simulation—these classes are actively managing a portfolio of $300,000 in real money. Even better? The dividends generated by their investment decisions fund scholarships for graduating WJHS seniors!
A massive thank you to Quint Tatro for facilitating this incredible opportunity and guiding our students, and to the University of Kentucky for hosting. This is what real-world learning looks like!
