🍉☀️ 294,326 reasons to celebrate! That’s how many meals and snacks our team served this summer to kids across Jessamine County. Even though our goal is simple-- serve our community and make sure our students have the nutritious food they need, all year long--this was no small undertaking. Huge thanks to our Child Nutrition staff, school and district administrators, and volunteers for all of your hard work to make it happen! 💙

Want to know more about how property taxes are set?

The Jessamine County Board of Education will hold a public hearing on the proposed 2026 property tax rate on Thursday, August 28, 2025, at 6 p.m. at the Royse Administration Building.

This is your chance to get the facts, understand the factors behind the rate, and provide input before the decision is made.

Financial reports are shared at every monthly board meeting and on our district website–this hearing is another way we’re ensuring transparency, keeping our community informed, and seeking feedback from those we serve. We encourage you to participate!
