JCS elementary schools are looking forward to welcoming our future first graders and their families at the upcoming Kindergarten to 1st Grade Transition Night! Join us this Thursday, May 8, from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. for an evening designed to help make the move to first grade a smooth and exciting adventure! For Wilmore Elementary only, Transition Night will also extend to incoming Kindergarten students who will attend school at WES next year. Students and families will have the opportunity to visit classrooms, meet teachers and staff, and learn more about what to expect. It’s a great chance to ask questions, build connections, and ease the transition as we prepare for another great year of learning and growth. We can’t wait to see you there! #TransitionNight

How does a great teacher spark curiosity and ignite a passion for learning? By creating immersive, hands-on experiences that students never forget. At EJHS, Mrs. Propes transformed the classroom into a mini-museum, sharing a collection of World War II artifacts. This powerful, up-close encounter with history brought the past to life in a way textbooks never could. JCS is proud to celebrate educators like Mrs. Propes who go above and beyond to make learning meaningful and memorable. #TeacherAppreciationWeek #ThankATeacher
