Our school was in great hands for the day, and we loved creating fun memories with our students. From big smiles to lots of laughter, it was a day we won’t forget anytime soon!

Camp Brookside Family Literacy Night, “Camp Out with a Good Book,” will take place on March 10 from 6:00–7:30 PM! This free, zero-cost event invites families to enjoy an evening of literacy-themed fun, including free books from the library, a cafeteria cookout with a camping read-aloud, indoor s’mores, BINGO games for primary and intermediate students, and a camping craft activity. Guests can also visit the photo booth and attend a live presentation from the Kentucky Reptile Zoo, “Lifestyles of the Sleek and Scaly,” featuring several interactive reptiles. Families who participate in at least four activities may enter to win a door prize! We hope to see you there!

Students had an incredible hands-on experience extracting DNA, building models of their DNA, and learning just how quickly germs can spread! Real-world science in action and so much meaningful learning happening beyond the classroom walls. We are proud of our curious, engaged Mustangs!
