BES Families, we're missing our Mustangs and hope everyone is staying safe! Thursday, January 9th and Friday, January 10th will be NTI days 3 and 4 for JCS. JCS Childcare will be provided at NES on Thursday from 8-5 for those pre-registered for this service. We will make a decision about Friday tomorrow. Students should continue working on their NTI work if possible and stay warm!

E-Fair was a huge success yesterday! Our 5th graders applied their new learning in economics to create a fun experience for the entire school! Shout out to our Social Studies teacher, Ms. Hayden, for organizing this event for BES!

During guidance this week, our 3rd graders learned about conflict resolution, escalation, and de-escalation. Shout out to our counselors, Mrs. Janes and Mrs. Welch, for teaching these life skills in a fun and interactive way!





Happy National School Psychology Week to Ms. Julia Herzing! Ms. Herzing has been a great addition to the Brookside Family and has already made a huge impact on our staff, students, and families!


Our 1st graders had a great time at the Jessamine County Public Library today! They also received a compliment from the staff for being so well behaved! #proudMustangs

Our 5th graders had a great time at EJHS today watching the middle and high school band & choir! They got to finish their day off with a Glow Party to celebrate the completion of the D.A.R.E. program! Thanks to EJHS, EJMS, Officer Billy King, and the Nicholasville Police Department for these opportunities for our kids!









Our 3rd graders had a great time at Eckert's Orchard today!







Another successful Fall Festival in the books! Huge shout out to our PTO for making this night happen for BES!








We enjoyed serving some of our Bus Drivers breakfast this morning! They have a heart for kids and always put safety first!


Shout out to Mrs. Hearn's class for winning the highest attendance average for Month 2 with a 98.87%! Well done, Mustangs!
