A big shout out to the Jessamine County Public Library for donating over 260 pairs of underwear to the Village Family Resource Center. The library collected underwear through their Drop Your Drawers drive and then donated them to the local Family Resource Youth Service Centers in Jessamine County.


Jessamine County Schools is proud to sponsor school level Teacher of the Year and district level Excellence in Education Awards. This can be a classroom teacher, specials teacher, special service provider like a counselor, speech pathologist, or special education teacher! Everyone loves knowing they are are appreciated. Thank you for taking the time to complete a nomination form. The Excellence in Education winners will have their names submitted as nominees for Kentucky Teacher of the Year for 2024.

When school is cancelled due to unsafe weather conditions, your child will have activities to complete at home. Completion of these activities will count for your child's attendance on that day.
