In addition to all the fun activities, it will also be a fabulous opportunity to turn in your child's complete registration packet! It's a beautiful day to Touch A Truck! Come on out to Falling Springs at Woodford County Fairgrounds for a great family event! Free popsicles from the Nicholasville Police Department Copsicle Truck, lots of awesome giveaways, and drawings for several big prizes. The first 100 kids get a free ice cream from Taylor Belle's Ice Cream Truck! The event is from 11-2 at 275 Beasley Road.

The Village Cafe's last day for lunch reservations is Monday April 29, 2024. Reservations may be made by visiting this site: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/5080949ADAC2AA3FD0-44359690-jelv. For every family to have an opportunity to have lunch with their student in the Village Cafe, we ask you to join us for lunch only once during the remaining days the Cafe is open.

Preschool Application Packets & Kindergarten Registration Packets for the 2024-2025 School Year are now available.  These are located outside the main entrance at JELV.  Please pick up a packet at any time that is convenient to you, then drop off your completed packet any school day during office hours.  Only COMPLETE packets will be accepted. Families of currently enrolled preschool students do not need to complete a registration packet.  Your student's preschool teacher will be sending home registration information soon.

Jessamine County Families, if you are expecting or have a baby that is under 18 months sign up to attend the 20 minute training and get a FREE Teach My Baby Kit. Coordinated by the Family Resource Center at the Early Learning Village.

Families are starting to think about summer activities for their students. Below is a soccer camp that is offered to students that are 5 to 14 years of age at Asbury University. See flyer for details.

I Love To Read Week Starts Monday February 26! Let's celebrate this special week with some special dress-up days! Get ready for a week filled with literary fun and adventure!

Don't forget to turn in your reading logs by Wednesday, February 21st.

Spring Picture Day is Wednesday March 13. Send no money, proofs will be sent home 3-4 weeks after picture day. Looking forward to seeing all the students with their beautiful smiles!

Thanks to Southland Christian Church, the Village staff had coffee and hot chocolate with all the fancy creamers for Valentine's Day.

This week is Kindness Week! Ask your student what their class is doing this week to spread kindness.. Please join JELV and our District by taking time to spread kindness to someone and reach out to those that have made a difference in our lives. Village Families, Watch for the handouts below coming home in your student's folder. It is about our Power Up Reading Program which runs until this Friday, February 16th. If we met our goal of our students reading 3,750 books they will receive a donut party provided by the Jessamine County Public Library.
