Hello TPS family! I’m beyond excited to join The Providence School community this year! I bring 6 years of experience in education working with students in grades 7 and beyond across diverse settings, including collegiate, alternative, and technical/career education.
I love new adventures, which made making the move from New York to Kentucky to join the TPS crew an easy 'yes!' When I’m not teaching or traveling, I’m usually hanging out with my little pup, Jack Jack. I can't wait for a fantastic year ahead!🐾📚

Hi everyone. My name is David Beaty and I am honored to be the new assistant principal at The Providence School!
I have taught science, technology auto mechanics and worked as a director of technology and assistant principal in elementary, middle and high schools.
My wife is also a teacher and together with our family we have lived and worked in five countries outside the United States. But I was born and raised in Jessamine County!
I strongly believe we are all capable of far more than we realize. I’m excited to push our boundaries, grow, and learn together this year!

Say hello to John Redd!
I am a graduate of East Jessamine High School. I have an Associate degree in Applied Science with a major in Interdisciplinary Early Childhood Education from BCTC.
I worked in the Highly Structured Behavioral program for JCS for 9 years and as a SPED Instructional Assistant at JELV for 2 years.
I’m very excited to start my new journey as a Para-Professional/Instructional Assistant at TPS.

Hi everyone! My name is Leslie Young, and I am so excited to join the Providence team! After 8 years with the district, I am excited to start this new adventure and get to know everyone! I have been happily married to my husband, Robert, for 25 years, and we have three kids: Chase (23), Hunter (21), and Mylie (18). When I’m not at work, you can usually find me planning my next Disney trip, spending time with my family, or hanging out with my three dogs, Rosie, Rocky, and Max!

Let's start introducing some of our new staff at TPS this year!
First up, Officer Wilson!
Justin has been married to his wife, Ashley, since 2005 and has two children: Alexandria (Alex) 15, an upcoming Sophomore at WJHS; and Gavin, 19, currently attending BCTC.
Justin brings more than 20 years of experience in service, leadership, and public safety. He served nearly 12 years in the United States Marine Corps, including roles in infantry leadership, recruiting, and marksmanship instruction. After his military service, he continued his career in public safety as a Kentucky Corrections Officer before joining the Nicholasville Police Department, where he has served since 2017.
During his law enforcement career, Justin has served as a School Resource Officer, Field Training Officer, Firearms Instructor, Bike Patrol Officer, and member and former Assistant Commander of the department’s Special Response Team.
Certified as a Wellness Coach and Behavior Change Specialist and in the process of obtaining certification as a Personal Trainer, Justin is passionate about leadership, personal development, fitness, wellness, and helping people reach their potential. He believes strongly in building positive relationships, earning trust, and helping young people recognize that their circumstances don’t have to define their future.
He is excited to join our school community, get to know our students and staff, and contribute to a positive, safe, and supportive environment.
