We recognized our 5th graders for their completion of the DARE Program last week! Thank you to the Nicholasville Police Department for continuing to invest in our students and partner with our school. We are also grateful for the support of Mayor Carter and Superintendent Moore. Congratulations to Quinn Ardery, McKinlee Wise, Jayden Chaney and Marlee Tuggle for winning their classroom DARE essay competitions and reading their essays during the graduation!

🩷193 special women joined us for Muffins in the Morning this week! A special thank you goes to Greg Robinson with Bimbo Bakeries for donating the delicious muffins. We know these moms, step-moms, grandmas, aunts and other women do SO much to support their children and help them be successful in school. They are an important part of our Warner community!

Ms. Giurgevich's class put their minds to work recently as they completed a science experiment to predict how many "raindrops" it would take to make the shaving cream cloud rain.

⭐️This fantastic group of leaders met with Mrs. Coy recently to share their student leadership team's multi-year proposal for cleaning up our courtyard and adding new features over time to enhance the space for students. Mrs. Coy was highly impressed with their enthusiasm, ideas, research, plan, design and communication skills.

💙Wildcat Buddy days are the best! All of our students spend time with their Wildcat Buddy teachers and fellow Wildcat Buddies from across the school playing games, making crafts, and getting to know each other.

🐷Our annual Warner Ag Day, with a focus on all things agriculture, was a huge success! Special guests from Justin’s Place, the UK Extension Office, JCTC, and the Jessamine County Public Library provided our students with engaging learning activities about animals, plants, and more!

We are grateful for our community partners investing in our students!

🌎450 students and family members joined us for our multicultural family night, It’s a Small World! Music and dance performances, multicultural storytelling, a story and craft with the Jessamine County Public Library, and more made for a fun celebration of some of the cultures represented at Warner. We loved having our Warner families share about their own cultures. Thank you to Southland Christian Church for providing dinner for our families. It really is a small world!💚

Thank you to our SRO Officer King and the Nicholasville Police Department for inviting our first graders to tour the police station. Our students enjoyed learning about being a police officer and the work of our local department!

Our second graders thoroughly enjoyed popsicles after reading about how they were invented!

❤️We are thankful for a community of people who invest in our students! JCS district leaders, mentors from Southland Christian Church, Warner staff members, and other community members recently spent the day providing our 5th graders with meaningful feedback on their opinion writing pieces.

Mrs. Crockett and some of our students joined together with other students and music teachers from Jessamine County for the Jessamine All County Choir event yesterday. They spent the day learning songs with a guest director and performed for families yesterday evening. We are lucky to be a part of a district that supports the arts!
