West Jessamine fall sports are back! Ladies golf took 1st in the Cardinal Invitational today and the girls soccer team kicked off their season with South Oldham at home on a beautiful evening. Boys soccer scrimmages at home tomorrow and football at home on Friday. Volleyball, boys golf, cheer, and cross country are back at it as well! Let's go Colts!

A big shout out to our local law enforcement, first responders, JCS Family Resource Directors, churches, and community groups for coming together for the National Night Out. A great turn out on a perfect summer evening in Nicholasville!

Congrats to Colts- Larkin Dietrich, Colin Breen, James Strange, and Clive Campbell. Their Kentucky Elite ultimate team placed 2nd in the nation at the Youth Club Championships in Aurora, CO this weekend!

Congratulations to Mac Frank who competed in the 15-16 age division at the USA Track & Field (USATF) Junior Olympics in Los Angeles last week.! Proudly wearing his Colts jersey, Mac placed 13th in the nation for the 200m—advancing to the semifinals with a personal-best 22.18. He finished 28th overall in the 100m prelims and only missed the semifinals cut by four places! This is an incredible accomplishment and we are so proud of him for representing WJHS!
