Open gyms will be held throughout the month of May. You must have a current sports physical in order to participate. Please see dates and times below, all open gyms will be held in the WJHS gymnasium.

As part of our Title I participation, we are required to evaluate the quality of our parent and family engagement each year. The purpose of this questionnaire is to gather information on how well the school communicated with and engaged parents and guardians during the 24-25 school year. Your feedback is anonymous and will be used to improve our parent and family engagement activities. Suggestions on how we can better help our students at home or at school are welcome. The survey will open from April 29 - May 10.

Ms. Henderson’s class celebrated their 8th grade peer tutors with a trip to the park Friday! These peer tutors have been leaders, friends, and a great example of inclusion. They will be missed!!

Our spring book fair will be held 4/9-4/15. Students will visit with their ELA class during the week. The book fair will also be open during our Student Showcase on 4/11. On March 6th, West Middle is pledging to spread inclusion. Inclusion is being kind to others, giving all people a place to belong, not saying the "R" word and seeing beyond the disability to the ability! Will you sign the pledge to include on March 6th during lunch?
Due to anticipated weather conditions tomorrow evening (2/28), we will be moving Girls Soccer Tryouts to take place at WJMS in the gym starting at 6:00 PM.
Students will need to wear normal athletics shoes (no cleats) for tryouts.

Boys Soccer Tryouts Update:
Due to the weather forecast for Saturday morning, it has been decided that tryouts will be moved to our backup date, February 24th.
On Feb 24th, we will still have check-in beginning at 7am and tryouts will go from 7:30am until 10:00am at WJHS Turf Field.
Come out to Cane's and support the WJMS Volleyball Team tomorrow (2/15) between 3:00-8:00 PM!
