Our students aren’t just the future—they’re the leaders of today. 🤝
This week, Superintendent Crum’s Student Advisory Council met, and the energy was next level. From building leadership skills, to discussing the school calendar, and chiming in on new extracurriculars, these students are shaping the district they want to see.💡
A massive thank you to our council members for your drive and your vision. You make us better- because when we listen, we grow! 🌱

We're so proud of our EJHS Chorale students for their incredible performance at the Kentucky School Boards Association (KSBA) Conference!
These students have put in countless hours of rehearsal, and it truly showed in every note.
A massive thank you to Director Kellie Sherwood for her leadership and KSBA for inviting Chorale to share their beautiful music. Way to go, Jaguars! ✨

Thanks to their leadership, and the generosity of our community, the event raised $12,400 to help support the needs of these vulnerable students. A grand total of nearly $48,638 has been raised over seven shows going back to 2019! 🎶
We’re deeply grateful to the talented performers, generous contributors, and everyone who attended and supported this special event. Your kindness and commitment make a meaningful difference for our students every day.
The Jessamine County Board of Education recently recognized the talented students who designed our district banner for this year’s Kentucky School Boards Association Conference.
With the theme “Built to Last,” these student creators highlighted iconic landmarks of Jessamine County, showing how a strong future is built on the powerful partnership between education and community. Their design reflects both a love for learning and a deep pride in where we come from.
We’re incredibly proud that this beautiful representation of Jessamine County was on display for education leaders from across the Commonwealth. It’s a reminder that while we continue to grow, our roots truly are built to last.
👏 Join us in thanking these students for representing our district and our community so well!

Our School Resource Officers are more than a badge. They are mentors, protectors, educators, and trusted adults our students can count on every single day. From morning high-fives and classroom safety lessons to quiet conversations when a student needs someone to listen, their impact reaches far beyond the hallways.
👮 Why we’re grateful for our SROs:
Safety First: They help create secure learning environments where students and staff can thrive.
Mentorship: They build meaningful relationships and guide students through challenges.
Daily Impact: They work tirelessly to ensure every child feels seen, heard, and safe.
Thank you to our SROs for being steady, positive forces in our schools. You don’t just patrol our halls — you help shape the future within them. 💙

It’s West vs. East, Colts vs. Jags, and the energy is going to be UNREAL. 🐎🐆
