Please join us in congratulating EJHS senior Hok Thai for being named a Chambers Scholar by the Summer Science Program !
Out of 588 participants from across the country, Hok is one of only 17 students selected for this prestigious award. The Chambers Scholar Award honors participants who demonstrate exceptional dedication, achievement, and potential in the sciences.
This incredible recognition includes a $1,000 award for Hok and a donation made in his name to help future students attend the program. The award honors the legacy of Dr. Robert J. Chambers, a renowned Professor of Astronomy who inspired countless young scientists.
We are immensely proud of Hok's hard work and this outstanding accomplishment. He represents the very best of our district!

We're beaming with pride for two Jessamine County Schools graduates from the Class of 2022 who were named to the University of Kentucky Homecoming Court!

Thank you to our head principals, assistant principals, and CRAs for your dedication, compassion, and commitment to helping every JCS student succeed. Join us in showing them some ❤️!

The JCS Bass Fishing Team is on a mission to fill a boat to the brim with winter coats for those in need right here in Jessamine County. As the weather gets colder, your donation of a new or gently used coat can make a world of difference
We couldn't be prouder of our Bass Fishing Team for organizing this drive. Seeing our students step up as compassionate, connected citizens to support their neighbors is truly inspiring.

We’re thrilled to share that East Jessamine High has been selected to participate in The Kentucky Performing Arts Bradley Awards—think of it as the “minor league” of Broadway!
This incredible opportunity will help EJHS students grow as performers, fuel their passion for the arts, and push their creativity to new heights. Trained theatre professionals will attend EJHS's shows, score performances, and provide feedback to help students work toward their goals in theatre excellence.
We’re so proud of our Jaguar Theatre family and can’t wait to see them shine! 🌟

Dual credit lets students:
✅ Earn college credit while in high school
✅ Save money on tuition later
✅ Build confidence for success after graduation
These EJHS history students are exploring the lifestyle and social structure of the American Colonies and using reflection activities to explore further. Deeper learning is a win-win for now AND later, preparing for college, career, and life.

Shoutout to these FFA students for going above and beyond for the "Nailed It" event! Students whose schedules don’t normally allow for time in the wood shop stayed after school to learn new skills and work together to build picnic tables to be donated to our community. 💙
Hands-on skills, teamwork, and giving back — that’s what it’s all about and we're so proud of them!
