Last night, the incredible teachers and staff from EJMS went above and beyond to bring the holiday spirit directly to their students' doorsteps! 🎄
With a school bus decked out in twinkling lights, their team set off through neighborhoods to spread some serious cheer. From singing festive carols to handing out steaming cups of hot chocolate, it was an evening filled with smiles, songs, and, two of the best gifts we could've asked for, family and community. 🎁
From music to performance, these talented students are sharing their gifts beyond the classroom and bringing joy to local holiday events. We’re so proud to see their hard work, creativity, and passion on display this season! 🎄
Mrs. Williams' WJHS Colts took Algebra out of the classroom and into the market this week at UK's Gatton College of Business. During the visit, three student teams presented the finals of their stock pitch competitions, offering professional recommendations and rationales.
This isn't just a simulation—these classes are actively managing a portfolio of $300,000 in real money. Even better? The dividends generated by their investment decisions fund scholarships for graduating WJHS seniors!
A massive thank you to Quint Tatro for facilitating this incredible opportunity and guiding our students, and to the University of Kentucky for hosting. This is what real-world learning looks like!

Warner Elementary Girls on the Run participants are crushing their goals this season! 🏃♀️ Beyond the physical benefits, these students are building confidence, learning the power of teamwork, and discovering that they can do difficult things. From setting goals to cheering each other on, they are developing healthy habits that will last a lifetime.

Out of 588 participants from around the world, Hok is one of just 17 students selected for this prestigious honor. The Chambers Scholar Award recognizes students who demonstrate exceptional dedication, achievement, and potential in the sciences.
This remarkable recognition includes a $1,000 award for Hok and a donation made in his name to help future students attend the program. The award honors the legacy of Dr. Robert J. Chambers, a renowned Professor of Astronomy who inspired generations of young scientists.
We are incredibly proud of Hok’s hard work, curiosity, and commitment to excellence. Congratulations on this outstanding accomplishment!

Coping with stress is a vital life skill, and last week EJMS therapy dog, Dr. Bill, helped lead a lesson on Healthy Coping Strategies, teaching students that there are many ways to handle big emotions—from getting active to practicing mindfulness. Students also learned about Animal-Assisted Therapy from this expert in unconditional love and how our furry friends can help lower anxiety and boost our mood.
We love seeing our district therapy dogs making a difference in the classroom! 💙
