Real world applications taking place in AP Physics today! The class did some accident reconstruction investigating. They were tasked with using tire skid marks in the parking lot to determine how fast the car was going before the driver slammed on the brakes and stopped. They took measurements, made calculations, and learned from our very own SRO Officer Wade about how the Nicholasville Police Department uses the same processes to investigate car collisions. Nice job, Colts! #criticalthinking #collaboration
