On Monday, students from East and West Jessamine High Schools came together for the Work Ready Seal Breakfast to celebrate those who have gone above and beyond throughout their high school careers.
The JCS Work Ready Seal recognizes students whose hard work, attendance, behavior, and involvement set them apart from their peers. These students have demonstrated the qualities found in the JCS Graduate Profile, including communication, connected citizenship, critical thinking, responsibility, and strong work ethic. To earn the seal, students completed an application process that included submitting a resume and participating in a formal interview with a member of the community.
We are proud of all of the students who received the Work Ready Seal for their diploma and grateful for the opportunity to celebrate their accomplishments together as one Jessamine County community. ❤️💙

🎓 A Legacy in Motion: Senior Grad Walks! 🎓
There is nothing quite like the WJHS tradition of Grad Walks (even in the rain)! Today, our seniors returned to their roots at our elementary and middle schools, completing a journey that began years ago within our school family. Seeing our seniors walk past the next generation of students is always sentimental and inspiring. The boys made some clutch plays to take it to 12 innings but ultimately fell 4-3 to Mercer.

⚾️🏆 CONGRATULATIONS to our West Jessamine JV Baseball team for bringing home the District Championship! The Colts battled through an incredible game and came out on top with a 5-4 win over Mercer in 9 innings!
Decision Day 2026 was a success! We loved celebrating all of our Seniors and their unique plans for their future! Thank you to Asst. We will see the seniors at the Work Ready Breakfast (9:30 @ EJHS) and Decision Day (11:30 @ WJHS) tomorrow.
